Ice Skating with Healthy Living @ Himmelfarb

Skating at Washington Harbor

It’s cold out and dark early – but don’t hibernate!  Instead, come join Himmelfarb Library‘s Healthy Living @ Himmelfarb initiative for ice skating at Washington Harbour.  This ice skating rink is right on the Georgetown waterfront and a short walk from Himmelfarb Library.  It’s the largest outdoor rink in the DC area and is even larger than the rink at New York City’s Rockefeller Center.  As you skate, you can enjoy Potomac views during the daytime and the winter lights after dark.

On Friday, January 23 at 5 p.m. we’ll set out on foot from Himmelfarb Library to ice skate; you can also meet us at the rink. Healthy Living @ Himmelfarb has arranged a group rate so $12 will secure both your entry and skate rental.  Register now to reserve your space!

  • When: Friday, January 23 5:00 p.m.
  • Where: Himmelfarb Library’s 1st floor to walk over together
  • Cost: $12 includes entry fee and skate rental
  • RSVPRegister now to reserve your space!

If you have questions, please contact Laura Abate (leabate@gwu.edu).
